Mobile information systems are dynamic and up-to-date information systems which are used in (temporary) traffic situations such as road works or calamities. These systems have an important contribution to road safety and the efficient flow of traffic.
A mobile information system is available as a separate text vehicle, as part of a crash absorber or MRS / MRI, but can also be installed separately on official cars or company buses. This makes these systems the ideal means of communication on and along public roads..
Q-lite offers the following mobile systems, among others:
|Text vehicles||Mobile text vehicles come in many different shapes and sizes. Basically, a text vehicles consists of a chassis with a folding or extendable mechanism on which the digital display is mounted.|
|Moving Barrier in the Night (RAIN)||The text vehicles for moving deposition at night, also called RAIN cars, are standard equipped with 2 matrix displays of 80 × 80 pixels that are placed one above the other. These text vehicles therefore comply with the CROW guideline.|
|Mobile Lane Signalling (MRS)||To inform road users about the lanes to be used during work, MRS systems are now widely used. These Mobile Lane Signalling systems have a long arm that protrudes above the road and displays the signalling on the signal devices for multiple lanes.|
|Crash absorbers||Crash absorbers are safety vehicles during work activities and are equipped with a digital matrix display in addition to a crash cushion.|
|Mobile DRIP for temporary situations||Q-lite also supplies mobile DRIPs. These DRIPs can be temporarily placed at locations to inform traffic or visitors.|
|CARDRIP||In 2006, Q-lite first developed carDRIPs for Rijkswaterstaat in the Netherlands. The carDRIP is a Dynamic Route Information Panel that is mounted on the back of a service vehicle. With the help of this carDRIP, in case of calamities, a warning, information and advice can be given to road users by means of texts and/or icons.|
|TACTIC||The TACTIC is the new generation carDRIP. A complete roof set in which a DRIP is mounted in addition to signage. This roof set is universal and can therefore be mounted on any vehicle.|
All Q-lite mobile display solutions are fully certified in accordance with the NEN-EN12966 standard. This makes them suitable for installation along European roads and you are assured of a high-quality and durable product with the correct technical and optical functionalities.
All display solutions are equipped with an extensive monitoring system. The user can request all data recorded by the display system. In addition to the status of all components, temperature and humidity, reading of the current battery voltage is also possible. This way you always have insight into the proper state of the system.
The RAAAK platform can be used to operate the mobile information systems, which gives you access to your display systems anywhere in the world. A clear and user-friendly dashboard gives you the opportunity to monitor, adjust and manage all your systems.
License plate recognition
The advanced ANPR technology can read and show the vehicle’s license plate on the LED screen. This can be used, for example, for an awareness campaign on the street or a visual of a (fictitious) fine.
Optimal availability thanks to the correct preventive maintenance
With the right maintenance, we ensure that you can make maximum use of your display systems and that downtime is prevented. This also extends the lifetime of the display systems. Because we develop, produce and manage our own systems, we know better than anyone else which maintenance is required for the display systems to function reliably.
