At Q-lite, we consciously choose recycling and reuse<\/b> of our digital displays. Our take-back guarantee <\/a> allows us to bring old displays in-house to:<\/p>\n

1. refurbish, upgrade<\/b><\/i><\/a> or 
2. recycle<\/a><\/strong><\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Q-lite gives its customers a take-back guarantee.<\/strong> When we replace an outdated digital display with a new one or the display is no longer needed on site for other reasons, we offer the option to take it back.<\/p>\n

At our factory, we then look at the possibilities of overhauling and upgrading (refurbishing)<\/a><\/b> the digital screen so that we can re-market it as a second-hand product<\/a>. If this is not possible, we take care of dismantling <\/strong>the screens. Many of our digital displays have a modular design, allowing us to properly separate the various raw materials and recycle <\/a><\/strong>them to a high standard. <\/p>\n

1. Refurbishing and upgrading<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When the digital display is still in a good condition, we refurbish it at our factory. This allows us to extend the life of the screen by several more years.<\/b> With refurbishement<\/i>, we update the software and controls as standard, so we can connect the screens with the latest technologies. <\/p>\n

With several display ranges, it is also possible<\/span> to upgrade image quality and energy efficiency<\/b> by just replacing 10<\/span> to 20% of the display . A great example of this is our sustainable range <\/span>Q-LED TV’<\/a>s. Updates allow these full-colour LED displays to be <\/span>kept up to date for 15 years. <\/span><\/p>\n

Converting the displays for new applications<\/b> is also possible. Led displays, for example, can be given a second life as digital scoreboards.

2. Recycling<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When the screen reaches the end of its life, we dismantle <\/b>it at our local plant on the border of Belgium and the Netherlands. This is where the first separation into pure raw material streams <\/b>takes place. This prevents the entire screen from going through a shredder, leaving only low-grade raw material streams and waste. After dismantling, various parts go back to our suppliers for recycling. We also work with a sheltered workshop where they dismantle our electronic power supplies into high-quality electronics and pure aluminium. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
