However, times have changed and the Waal Bridge no longer has sufficient capacity to handle the ever-increasing road traffic. Based on the analysis of this data, the central system actively or manually controls system components in the field. In addition to adjusting, for example, the VRIs (Traffic Control Installations) to the traffic density, the Dynamic Route Information Panels (DRIPs) are also used to inform road users about the <strong>current traffic situation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-19bb14a\" data-id=\"19bb14a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-447d5a6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"447d5a6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">DRIP as an essential link<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec235f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ec235f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The DRIPs make it possible to <strong>quickly<\/strong> and <strong>accurately<\/strong> inform all passing road users about the <strong>current situation<\/strong>. Moreover, it is the means for the road manager to direct the traffic and thus keep a <strong>grip on the flow<\/strong>. Partly because of this, the DRIPs &#8211; as the last link in communication to the road user &#8211; are indispensable in the proper development of the DVM system. The delivered DRIPS are unique because of the sharp 10 mm pixel pitch and the full color version. With a display area of \u200b\u200b12.9 or 7.4 m\u00b2, they offer enough space to display the necessary information.
