We can be proud, as once again Q-lite receives the EcoVadis Silver medal. This places us in the top 15% of all globally rated companies and in the 85th percentile of our sector.
EcoVadis evaluates sustainability performance against international standards, focusing on categories Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
In the recent assessment, three key trends and areas for improvement stand out, making our commitment to sustainability concrete. We made nice progress on the environment, human rights and ethics. At the same time, we continue to take a critical look at where things can be improved, such as sustainable procurement.

1. Strong environmental performance
focusing on circularity and renewable energy
Environmental policy
Our comprehensive environmental policy includes quantitative targets for energy consumption, greenhouse gases, product use, water, materials, chemicals and waste. We take thoughtful measures for the management of hazardous substances, waste reduction through reuse and recycling, and procurement/generation of renewable energy.
Science Based Targets
We commit to the Science Based Targets initiative. Thus, as a company, we save 40% CO2 during the production process of our circular displays. We also installed 1,500 solar panels on Q-lite’s roof, good for a lot of green electricity. Read more about all objectives and actions here.
ISO14001
Q-lite is ISO 14001-certified.

2. Progress for working conditions
focusing on Labour, human rights and ethics
Strong measures and reporting
Both in the areas of labour and human rights (64/100) and ethics (66/100), Q-lite scored higher compared to the previous audit. We score outstanding here on measures and reporting, which is a nice reward for the hard work of our colleagues.
What do we mean by this?
Our policies in these areas include employee health and safety, career management, diversity, integrity, data security and corruption prevention. Specifically, these include measures such as employee skills development training, collective employment agreements, whistle-blowing procedures and data protection measures.
VCA
Q-lite is VCA-certified.

3. Growth opportunities for sustainable procurement
focusing on suppliers and understanding the chain
In this domain, we scored lower than last year, indicating that further improvement is needed. Although we score strongly on measures taken, such as formal assessment of suppliers and a code of conduct, we need to further strengthen reporting and policies in this area.

Sustainable strategy
This EcoVadis Silver rating confirms our commitment to sustainability and motivates us to continuously improve our efforts in all areas, with a specific focus on sustainable procurement.
